The BBC's public service broadcasting obligations include providing information, encouraging learning for all ages, producing creative output, having varied content, and reflecting the culture and values of the UK to the world.
4) What is regulation and how is the BBC regulated?
The BBC is required to abide by the BBC Regulation. The BBC regulation makes sure that the rules are upheld and that inappropriate content is never broadcast. The BBC is regulated by OFCOM

5) How do Doctor Who and His Dark Materials help the BBC to meet the BBC's remit to inform, educate and entertain?
The BBC is able to fulfil its mandate to inform, educate, and entertain through history, science, and engaging stories through "Doctor Who" and "His Dark Materials."
